FERRELL-ROSS RC COOLER SERIES
The Ferrell-Ross cooler is designed to be an ambient air cooler. The Ferrell-Ross cooler is designed for flaked or pelleted products. One of the unique features of the Ferrell-Ross cooler is the continuous moving stainless steel baffles within the cooler body, distributing the product evenly across the flow of air. Experience has shown that the Ferrell-Ross cooler can remove up to 3%-4% moisture. Recommended discharges on the Ferrell-Ross cooler is the rotary vane discharge. The optional rotary vane discharge virtually eliminates flake breakage. Also, this style of discharge is designed to flow product directly below the cooler. The screw conveyor discharge is designed to allow the product to flow to either end of the cooler. Both come complete with variable speed motors for controlling product discharge. Available options: rotary vane with 3/4hp variable speed drive, dry air attachment for RC-200 only and special conveyor with drive, but without 2hp variable speed motor.
